Alto saxophonist Viktor Toth's debut album was released in 2007 by BMC Records entitled 'Climbing with Mountains', which brought him critical acclaim in and out of Hungary. One of his musician partners on this record was legendary American percussionist Hamid Drake, who collaborated in numerous projects by jazz greats Archie Shepp and William Parker. His next outing 'Tartim' came two years later hiring his local 'hero' Mihály Dresch.
His most recent work, recorded with his Arura trio was released also by the BMC label, featuring Miklós Lukács on cimbalom and György Orbán on double bass. This core working band, his 'Tercett' and touring with renowned Polish jazz trumpeter Piotr Wojtasik fill his busy schedule.
